Due to the global pandemic Aker Arctic’s sales activities had frozen. Working in a traditional sales environment Aker needed to seize the opportunity in digitising the industry. Pre-pandemic sales activities consisted mainly of face-to-face meetings at global industry events with a complex and lengthy sales process.
By analysing Aker Arctic’s products and services we recognised two services with the highest potential for gains via digital transformation. Collaborating with Aker Arctic we rapidly created and validated prototypes relating to customer acquisition and digital sales services.
We helped to plan, allocate and execute digital customer acquisition tactics in an organised manner. By building an automated weekly dashboard from existing Aker Arctic’s data, we were able to create actionable insights for sales, marketing and website development where internal headcount was a serious bottleneck limiting the amount of activities to be done.
