Case Hako
The Challenge
Hako’s local subsidiary in Finland has pioneered many new innovations within the Hako group. Now they wanted to enable a new way for their customers to easily expand and manage their cleaning fleet without increasing capital expenditure costs and keeping their fleet well maintained. A new innovative business concept, Hako CareFree, called for a digital platform for customers to enable this new way of ownership and use.
The Solution
Hako Carefree is a new concept marrying a new financing model with a digital fleet management solution. We built a proprietary digital service that delivers the Hako Carefree value proposition with a self service portal and a standalone mobile app. Customers can log in, see and manage their equipment fleet, add or remove equipment in the fleet and make maintenance requests and orders for maintenance parts. The system was built using React and React Native, and runs in AWS. The system is integrated into Hako's internal processes and IT infrastucture in a Microsoft environment.
